ABOUT US
PPG Inc.
The Peninsula Preservation Group Inc (PPG) formed in 2013 - under the campaign heading of Save Arthurs Seat - to oppose the then Ross Trust attempt to convert the disused Pioneer Quarry on the Arthurs Seat escarpment into a regional landfill. The EPA rejected it. In 2013, PPG received an award from Environment Victoria for "outstanding commitment to safeguarding the environment." Despite this victory, we carried on, knowing that while the Ross Trust own a very precious parcel of land connecting two sections of the State Park, there would be a need to remain vigilant and active against any further exploitation of the Arthurs Seat escarpment.
